Perfect tone starts here.
Our mission
Tandem Drums started with a simple belief: great sounding drums make great songs. You can put in the hours and master your chops, but if the drums don’t sound right, neither will the music.
Whether you're a drummer or producer, perfect drum tone shouldn’t be a mystery. Tandem products are designed so tone just happens, letting artists focus on creativity, not rigging up DIY fixes. When your gear gets out of the way, the music hits different.
Rooted in California, we create purpose-built tools that fuse modern engineering with time-tested tradition. For us, it's not about reinventing old ideas—it's about perfecting them. Every drummer brings something different to the table. Our mission is to help you sound perfect.

from 1034 reviewsAs stated in the description, easy to attach (secure) and remove in any standard drum lug. They deliver as they should. Bottom line.
I like These Very Much.
Works Good Sounds Great
The drops, bag and towels are all high quality products, I’m able to customize the drum tones very well, I’m really happy with everything. Thank you
Love them
awesome thanks
Easy to install and they don't get in your way when you're playing.
This product delivers what it should.
I got more than I expected. The dampening effect is easy to control by using the different weights of the pads. The other thing that I found that’s a plus is that when I do outdoor gig they don’t blow away like my dampening rings do.
I am a sound engineer and drummer. I love the big sound of large shell drum sets. I know how how to dampen those overtones but I still had sound guys at shows tell me that I was having too much overtone on my floor tom and they couldn’t manage it. I added 120 g tandem to what I was already doing, and it made the difference. The average sound engineer can now manage my overtones and stage volume. Everyone’s happy!
Great mix of mutes that don't deaden things too much.
These things offer just the right amount of muffling in quieter situations.
Does the job it is made for. Great quality.
A friend let me try the set he purchased & I was so impressed I had to get some of my own. I've been using white kitchen/tea towels with large hair tie/rubber bands to hold them in place on my toms (folded over for half coverage on snare) which have worked out great & are a cheap solution. T-Towels were head & shoulders better. They lower the pitch slightly & allow a bit more tone to ring out. They also stay in place well when playing. I worry a bit about the rubber/plastic piece that grips the lugs wearing out over time & hope Tandem will replace 'em if needed. These aren't cheap- but so far I'm extremely happy.
A great product and always perfect for what I need to help control tone and volume. Thank you for all that you guys do.
