About
Drops® are a new way to enhance drum tone without gels or adhesives. Using only gravity, Drops reduce sustain with an active gate effect that lets the drum's natural tone come through upon impact. Use Drops on snares, rack toms and floor toms. Mix and match different weights to get your drum tone just right. Drops attach to any standard tension rod by a molded silicon tab. Just push on the thumbprint to attach, and pull up to remove. Designed by Tandem Drums in California. (Patents pending)

Did not perform as expected
Just the right amount of dampening
Used these on my floor toms. Just the right amount of sustain. They sound awesome. I am not a fan of tape and gels. These are perfect!
A little to a little more. Takes the edge off the attack for smaller spaces. Controls the amount of decay on my toms without choking.
