Huge fan, they have been great to use and the quality is great
I have used so many different dampeners over the years from moon gel to wallets to bean bags. The gels are messy and the bean bags/wallets tend to move. These just work great. They stay in place and the do the job. They are so good, we bought another set for our church.
We put them on a set of custom Stubblefield drums and recorded for 30 hours. We experimented some with the different sizes but found that they allowed the drums to keep their robust tone while creating a ring free recording!!
I used my drops for the first time this past weekend on a gig. It was amazing how the drums were transformed into a studio quality compressed drum set. There was one particular song where I needed a little bit more and all I did was move the pads over for that particular song and then put them back. I even had a friend who was partly professional comment on how great the drum sounded all because of drops.
This product is the cleanest, good quality and more efficient damper that I ever had
