What's included
A set of all four Drops® (4 pcs total), one of each weight: 40g / 60g / 120g / 200g. This is the ideal starting place to provide options across the drum kit. Try using the smaller weights (40g / 60g) on rack toms 8"-12". Try the larger weights (120g / 200g) on floor toms 13"-18". For snare drums, all weights provide great options. Tip: try doubling up heavier weights on floor toms, and doubling up lighter weights on the snare.
About
Drops® are a new way to enhance drum tone without gels or adhesives. Using only gravity, Drops reduce sustain with an active gate effect that lets the drum's natural tone come through upon impact. Use Drops on snares, rack toms and floor toms. Mix and match different weights to get your drum tone just right. Drops attach to any standard tension rod by a molded silicon tab. Just push on the thumbprint to attach, and pull up to remove. Designed by Tandem Drums in California. (Patents pending)

Bought this set for my boyfriend… He loves them
I really love the concept of what Drops should do, but after placing them on the snare and the toms, there was only a slight variance in the muffling. I think they would work better if there were a longer stem on them so they could actually lay on the head itself, now when you place them they are raised up so only a small part of the drop is on the head allowing only a small portion to make the muffle. I purchased 2 full boxes. Great concept..
I've been putting them on and taking them off, over and over. And honestly, I'm not hearing a huge difference. But they look better than all kinds of sticky stuff on my heads, so I'll keep them on.
Wish I'd thought of that.
Definitely a wise purchase for precision ring dampening.
