THRONES OF FIRE is a drum event we created to bring together local drummers from across the Bay Area together, taking the stage to perform live over drumless backing tracks—with no click and no safety net.

To celebrate the launch of THRONES in April 2026, special guest Daru Jones gave a masterclass on finding your voice as an artist, followed by a live performance of his own.

THRONES is not a contest, but an inclusive event for the drumming community: a chance to honor the drummers who inspire us, push our craft to the next level, connect with other musicians, and welcome new players into the community.
