We tested hundreds of materials, looking for the right tone, stick response, weight, durability, even stain resistance. And when we couldn’t find the perfect textile, we developed our own. Tamed the ring out of my Vistalite kit

I was pulling my hair out with endless tuning and ring overtones, lengthy decay etc. Drops stopped the ring without killing the classic Vistalite sound. Still loud with faster decay. Our lead guitarist says they sound awesome .. I couldn’t be happier!!!

Technical info

Compatibility

The T-towels mounting system is currently NOT compatible with the following:

  • Wood hoops
  • Vintage oversized (round slotted) tension rods found on some Sonor kits

We hope to support these in the future ✌️

Sound reduction

T-towels provide an average 2.6 dB reduction in volume across the drum kit in studio audio testing.
