This is the second time I've ordered the drops and I did so because I love the product and they were on sale. I bought the 4 set bundle. Your basically getting 1 set for free. WHAT A DEAL!! I jumped right on it. Playing about 40 dates per year sometimes things get misplaced and lost in the shuffle. I wanted to make sure I had extras just in case. I bought 2 carrying cases (each holds 2 sets) because I thought it was cool, it helps to keep them organized and I wanted to support the company. I highly recommend the Drops and the Cases to go with it.
I wanted subtle dampening. Nailed it.
I watched all the videos, the YouTube influencers and all. Sounded too good to be true, and it was… it’s just another expensive gimmick that doesn’t deliver on its promise. 2-3 of those on the snare and it still doesn’t sound good. .. Then I threw on a single moon gel and there it was! Utterly useless on Toms . Should’ve read all the other 1-2 star reviews. They pretty much sum it up. I generally don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I’d rather people don’t fall for this.
I was initially attracted to DROPS because it appeared to a Cleaner Connect & Re- Connect on the Lug Point — And whey actually had’m InHand and could feel the difference in the weight pads on the Drums😳… I was BLOWN AWAY of how I could Still Here Enough Clarity in The Resonanz of my Drums Tunnings!! HIGHLY IMPORTANT to how I Color My Sound
They don't dampen the sound as much as I like. But a decent product.
