What's included
One 40g Drop and one 60g Drop (2pcs total). These smaller weights are ideal for rack toms 8"-12", as well as snare drums. Tip: try doubling up lighter weights on the snare, too.
About
Drops® are a new way to enhance drum tone without gels or adhesives. Using only gravity, Drops reduce sustain with an active gate effect that lets the drum's natural tone come through upon impact. Use Drops on snares, rack toms and floor toms. Mix and match different weights to get your drum tone just right. Drops attach to any standard tension rod by a molded silicon tab. Just push on the thumbprint to attach, and pull up to remove. Designed by Tandem Drums in California. (Patents pending)

I have used gaffers tape for over 20 years as it was cheap, effective, and you could add or subtract to get that perfect tone for gigging or recording. The problem is it looked like **** and left residue everywhere.
I tried one 120 gram for my 8x14 metal snare and I was sold. I bought one for every one of my drums, three kits worth!
Sound great, perfect tone, no sticky residue.
60 gram on toms, 120 grams on snares, 200 gram on my old 5x14 snare.
Pops right off for easy transport.
Only drawback, minor, I've hit them a few times during solos.

I have been using this on my snare drums. It takes out just the right amount of ring. No more gels that dry out and won’t stick. I love the product!
They're very well made, but for the price, I was expecting better performance. Even two 60g didn't control the ring on my brass or aluminum snares.
These are very helpful in taking away the dreaded overtone ringing by 90%
