What's included
A set of all four Drops® (4 pcs total), one of each weight: 40g / 60g / 120g / 200g, along with the new Drum fx accessory bag to keep your Drops organized and protected on the go. One and done! Try using the smaller weights (40g / 60g) on rack toms 8"-12". Try the larger weights (120g / 200g) on floor toms 13"-18". For snare drums, all weights provide great options. Tip: try doubling up heavier weights on floor toms, and doubling up lighter weights on the snare.
About
Drops® are a new way to enhance drum tone without gels or adhesives. Using only gravity, Drops reduce sustain with an active gate effect that lets the drum's natural tone come through upon impact. Use Drops on snares, rack toms and floor toms. Mix and match different weights to get your drum tone just right. Drops attach to any standard tension rod by a molded silicon tab. Just push on the thumbprint to attach, and pull up to remove. The Drum fx accessory bag included in this bundle is built from reinforced vinyl, trimmed with durable YKK® zipper hardware, and sized to fit two full sets of Drops while still slipping inside a cymbal bag or snare bag. Much better than gels for my purposes.
Really improved my sound. Very impressed with the easy set up and ability to customize. May try the towels.

first off, I do very much like the product. I was leery of the price until I learned that the inventor comes from Mono cases; I've toured globally with a Mono bass case for like, fifteen years now and it's still solid.
The Tandem drops seem to be similarly solid, but I will say, they don't quite have as much of an effect as I'd like. The lighter weights are basically indiscernible on my snare (acrylic, tuned up, loud, evans HD dry head) and even the 200g weight has less of an impact on the tone than my (light/thin) wallet. However, it has definitely replaced the wallet, the attachment is great, it stays out of the way, I do like what it does, but I wish I'd bought just the 120/200 instead of the full set with the 60/80g ones. Maybe they could have the surface that touches the head be softer leather or silicone instead of hard felt, or something reversible ? Maybe it'll break in a bit with time? Still, highly recommended.
Very handy
