T-towels™ turn live drums into 1960s magic, creating that classic muffled tone sought after by drummers and producers everywhere. They lower the pitch slightly, reduce volume a few dB, and smooth out harsh overtones while preserving just the right amount of sustain, and the subtle sonic artifacts that keep the drums feeling alive. The secret to the T-towels sound is the material. T-suede™ is a proprietary synthetic suede custom-engineered for T-towels. It feels luxurious in your hands and sounds incredible on the kit.
Use them flat or folded. Each T-towel includes a magnetic clasp to keep them clean and consistent when folded.
T-towels attach to any standard tension rod by a molded silicon tab. Just push on the thumbprint to attach, and pull up to remove. Designed by Tandem Drums in California. (Patents pending)

They are a nice unobtrusive car that allows the beauty of your drum set to dominate. They fit over the lugs of my Yamaha drums nicely. You can fold them so that you get a different sound or clear access to the battery head as needed instead of having them always fully deployed over the surface of the drum. The material seems to be about the right thickness, which is a compromise between durability and not producing and overly muffled sound.
Pre-ordered these without hesitation, as an owner of T-Drops. These T-towels have a nice, premium finish to them. The best part is how they stay in place. Used them recently at a fundraising gig where multiple bands performed. They worked amazingly well and I recommended them highly to many other drummers who saw and heard these in action.
I got mine and Ringo can’t have em back.
