I am very pleased with this item. 12 inch towel sits nicely on my 14 inch snare. Great thickness of the towel and the hold clip stays firmly on the tuning lug. Just started to use it so time will tell, but so far I'll give it 5 stars. Thx Tandem drums.

Finally, something that isn't gross looking gels, or unsightly tape but a well made and functional weight that bounces on the drum head. I've bought two sets, plus a combo set of 40 and 60oz set. Fun to figure out the best combos for snares and toms. If I had a gripe, wish they had a 7 piece set for common 7 piece setups - a 40, 60 etc. You can buy them individually, which I did so not a deal breaker. Great product! Bought two for both my kits.

Replaced the piece of broadcloth I've been using for years.

I'm really happy with these already. I doubt I'll record with them, but it helps a lot with volume during rehearsals in my small-ish music room. These paired with my low-volume ride and crash cymbals makes all the other musicians happy. It's possible I've even convinced the guitar player to turn down once in awhile.
