Active gate tone control

The secret to Drops' sound is air. Instead of adhesives sticking to the drum head, Drops rest on the surface. The flexible silicone mount allows Drops to lift with the initial attack, letting the drum's natural tone come through, then immediately fall to gate the sustain and eliminate overtones. The heavier the Drops, the more aggressive the active gate effect will be.

Easy on/off

Drops feature a molded silicone mount that grabs on to any standard tension rod. This pressure fit system makes them easy to configure on the fly, and keeps them firmly in position. Press to attach, pull to remove. (Patent pending)

Perfect for rehearsals

I'm really happy with these already. I doubt I'll record with them, but it helps a lot with volume during rehearsals in my small-ish music room. These paired with my low-volume ride and crash cymbals makes all the other musicians happy. It's possible I've even convinced the guitar player to turn down once in awhile.

T-Towels work amazingly well

Pre-ordered these without hesitation, as an owner of T-Drops. These T-towels have a nice, premium finish to them. The best part is how they stay in place. Used them recently at a fundraising gig where multiple bands performed. They worked amazingly well and I recommended them highly to many other drummers who saw and heard these in action.

Amazing product and company

Amazing... it arrived on time. The package was damaged and the extra 200 i ordered was missing and the package was soaking wet. So was the receipt n paperwork. I reached out to the company and they replaced the missing 200. Clearly it was no fault of theirs but they were all to willing to help me. I hope FEDEX makes it right with them because tandem took care of me, and they were never at fault. But it is so greatly appreciated! I will be ordering more products from them. They work amazing! Very noticeable sound quality and simple to use! Thank you so much! 🤙🏽

Versatile T-Towel

Purchased the 16" T-Towel. I love it on my snare for that 70's fat snare sound! I also use it on my floor tom for that deep thud!! Love my T-Towel!!!

Very cool sound!

Between the drops and the towels, I can adjust the sound of my kit to any venue we play.
The drops are the main go-to especially since we mostly play outdoor gigs over the summer. Going inside for winter gigs will be perfect for trying out the towels in a live setting.
Initial use has been in my house with my practice kit and I love the sound. The band also practices here so I can here so I can control the volume easier with the towels. PLUS, they make the drums sound pretty cool.

Best damoening product on the market

They really give my drums the sounds I remember as a kid in the '60 where I had to cut up sheets to make something like T-Towels to get that sound. I bought the bundle plus an extra 16" because I have 3 toms., so I would suggest they should offer a bundle for that as well. They are very well made, stay in place, and because wlhen you fold them the magnets hold them in place as well when you're playing. It's also easy switch between T-Towels and Drops.

  • Wood hoops
  • Vintage oversized (round slotted) tension rods found on some Sonor kits
