I have used gaffers tape for over 20 years as it was cheap, effective, and you could add or subtract to get that perfect tone for gigging or recording. The problem is it looked like **** and left residue everywhere.
I tried one 120 gram for my 8x14 metal snare and I was sold. I bought one for every one of my drums, three kits worth!
Sound great, perfect tone, no sticky residue.
60 gram on toms, 120 grams on snares, 200 gram on my old 5x14 snare.
Pops right off for easy transport.
Only drawback, minor, I've hit them a few times during solos.

Professional looking, they easily snap on a lug. And, they don't move around, or fall off! They are so superior to random looking tea towels, maybe held in place not the entire gig by Alien Tape. Cut out the frustration. Buy them!

I love these things. I was looking for something to dampen my drums and started seeing these pop up on facebook and on several YouTube videos. I don’t have soundproofing in my basement yet, so when I play, it can get pretty loud. These paired with my drum honey gels is a game changer. I probably dont even need the gels. I just haven’t taken them off yet. I really like this product and highly recommend.

Drops give as good of sound without the mess, it's removable without alcohol, lol, and it looks professional!
Have hit the round patch a few times while figuring out where to best place them.
I have now ordered these for every drum I own

These did exactly what I hoped they would and exactly as advertised. I could not be happier. If youre thinking about purchasing these, stop thinking and do it. Invest in perfect sounding drums without the mess of gels and tape that are inadequate at best. You truly owe it to yourself.

Used these for the first time at a show last night using their house kit. Easy to apply, easy to remove - much better than the various gels I’ve used for years!

Works as expected

Purchased the "Drops 2x4 bundle" and was able to use only 1 bundle so I gave the other to a friend. We're both amazed on how much these Drops help in tone, feel and eliminating ring on all 4 drum heads. EXCELLENT product!
